bluebird on fence popup

I have been thinking of doing popups a long time but I just haven't come up with a good idea.  Finally I realized I could start by copying ones that I see, or at least using them as an idea.  Here's my first one, a birthday card for my friend DL.

Riley loves sea creatures (especially octupi) nd trains.  So here is his Sea Train Valentine with a pop-up train.

Here is a small Valentine for Keely - she likes hibiscus print.  This is paper and lace.  Inside is a pop-out heart with a message behind.

I've been wanting to make my husband a special Valentine.  His favorite food in the world is cherry pie.  I found a pattern in one of my paper craft books for a box shaped like a piece of cherry pie and tried it.  I am pretty happy how it turned out.  I put sour cherry candy nside.

Our Crafty Ladies group made cat mats for the animal shelter.  So I sent thankyou cards to the crafters (from a cat, of course).  My sewing machine is in the hospital, so it was all fusing and gluing.  Here are two.
